CataTrain Simulator
CataTrain is a reusable and affordable cataract surgery training platform designed to help residents and surgeons develop and refine essential microsurgical skills through repeated practice. The simulator allows you to train key steps of cataract surgery, including anterior capsulorhexis, corneal incisions, nucleus manipulation, rotation and chopping, iris-handling techniques and bimanual dexterity.
Each kit includes 100+ capsulorhexis inserts, a simulated nucleus, an artificial iris, and small training pieces specifically designed for bimanual coordination and fine motor exercises. It also includes a 15-exercise progressive training guide, combining basic dexterity tasks with cataract-specific surgical exercises to help improve precision, coordination and instrument control step by step.

Phacoemulsification is not recommended. The simulated nucleus is not designed to be emulsified with ultrasound.
Microsurgical instruments, forceps and additional materials required for some exercises are not included.
